This certified LEED Gold project consisted of a retrofit to the F.E. Weymouth Water Treatment Plant to treat water with an oxygen/ozone system. Work included construction of an ozone generation building; ozone contactors; contactor inlet and outlet conduits; a liquid oxygen (LOX) storage and feed system; chemical feed facilities; electrical facilities; large-diameter yard conduits and piping. The plant acts as the primary water source for Los Angeles and Orange Counties in Southern California.
