The expansion of Durango’s wastewater treatment plant included a new headworks facility, new primary clarifier cover and primary solids pump replacement, new secondary biological process including new aeration basins, secondary clarifiers, blower/chemical building, and new RAS/WAS, scum pumps, anaerobic digestion and digester support building, odor control, UV disinfection, and dewatering building and site improvements. The project also included the demolition to the existing plant.
