The Walsh Group Names Jack Brazil as VP of Health & Safety
The Walsh Group has announced that Jack Brazil has been promoted to Vice President of HSE (Health, Safety & Environmental Services). In this newly created position, Jack will be responsible for leading the company's safety program and mission to ensure that No One Gets Hurt.
In his 25 years in the industry, Jack has spent the last 18 years with Walsh as a Regional Safety Manager and most recently, Director of HSE for Archer Western. He holds advanced degrees in Occupational Health and Safety Technology, Industrial Safety and Human Resource Development from the University of Texas and holds numerous professional safety certifications.
“Jack has been instrumental in our continuous improvement and focus on 0-0-0 results. With the growth of our projects across business sectors and geographies, I'm confident Jack leading our HSE department will provide the company with a central resource and innovative strategies to move Walsh to the next level of safety in the industry,” said Mike Whelan, Building Group President of The Walsh Group, and chairman of the company's Executive Safety Committee.
