Walsh Construction Estimators Named 2018 Women in Construction Winners
Walsh Construction estimators Courtney Donahue Vigrass and Stephanie Littlefield have been named 2018 Women in Construction award by Constructech Magazine.
The 2018 Women in Construction award recognizes women in the construction community that have exhibited the passion and resolve required to be leaders on massive, complex projects while remaining committed to technological innovation in a rapidly evolving business. With a skilled labor shortage placing pressure on the construction industry, these awards serve as a timely reminder for women and men to join to inspire the next generation of workers.
“I am always inspired by these women. It’s truly a great time to celebrate women who never hold back and who are an inspiration to the next generation—both men and women,” says Peggy Smedley, editorial director of Constructech magazine and president of Specialty Publishing Media.
Vigras has 19 years of experience in the construction industry. As a Project Estimator, she has a wide range of responsibilities across a spectrum of project valuations, from project estimate preparation to value engineering analysis to subcontractor negotiation.
Littlefield has seven years of experience in the industry, and has provided project estimating across multiple building markets. Her recent focus has been in the healthcare market preparing design budgets, preconstruction project management and managing cost and design changes.
