Drew Peterson named Program Manager for Walsh Logistics
The Walsh Group announced that Drew Peterson has been promoted to Program Manager for its Walsh Logistics program. As Program Manager, Peterson will be directly responsible for all outfitting and activation services of Walsh Logistics. He will be responsible for establishing management systems, supervising projects and management staff, estimating, design management, value engineering, scheduling and the preparation of quality control programs.
Walsh Logistics provides critical services and support tailored to health, science and education projects. The program's suite of services includes the planning, design, procurement and installation of furniture, furnishings and medical equipment that are necessary to operate a facility. The Walsh Logistics team integrates with customers' staff to facilitate informed decisions into a streamlined planning and delivery process.
Peterson has 14 years of experience, all with The Walsh Group. In his previous role as Senior Project Manager, he was a leading force behind the implementation of Walsh Logistics as a multi-faceted service provider. He managed the initial outfitting and transitioning (IO&T) of the Army Public Health Center Replacement Laboratory at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland, the Ireland Army Health Clinic in Fort Knox, Kentucky and the Armed Forces Radiobiology Research Institute in Bethsda, Maryland. He's also helped lead IO&T efforts for Rush Oak Park Hospital, Elmendorf AFB Hospital and Northwestern University.
