The Walsh Group appoints Erin Schultz to Chief Engineer
CHICAGO – The Walsh Group, one of the largest contractors in the United States, has named Erin Schultz, PE, as the firm’s new Chief Engineer. As Chief Engineer, Schultz will be responsible for overseeing transportation estimating and pursuit teams, including the development of pricing and finalizing estimates from the conceptual stage through construction.
"Erin brings a lot of energy and drive. She wants to win, and she has proven her leadership skills by delivering consistent success,” said Steve Kehle, senior vice president of The Walsh Group's heavy civil division, “We are thankful for the contributions Erin has already made, and we look forward to her impact on our success in the future.”
Shultz has 20 years of construction experience and 18 years at The Walsh Group. Shultz's career at Walsh began as an assistant project manager working on Chicago transportation jobsites, and moved up in the ranks as project manager, lead estimator and chief estimator.
Shultz has developed strong working relationships with many design firms and key suppliers that The Walsh Group partners with said Kehle; she utilizes those relationships in assembling and energizing winning teams.
