Walsh Construction Modernizes Gottlieb Memorial Hospital's Emergency Department
MELROSE PARK, IL - Loyola Medicine and Trinity Health have unveiled the newly renovated emergency department at Gottlieb Memorial Hospital in Melrose Park, Illinois. Renovated by Walsh Construction, and designed by Eckenhoff Saunders Architects, the emergency department features 14 exam rooms, four behavioral health rooms, two triage rooms, patient and staff areas, as well as a new ambulance vestibule and a more accessible entrance with a new canopy. The project was broken into three phases, with phase three completing this summer and including the build out of new office spaces.
The Emergency Department is named in memory of Judd A. Weinberg, who along with his late wife Marjorie, was instrumental in the growth and development of the hospital.
