The Walsh Group promotes David Walker to Vice President of Southeast Water
ATLANTA - The Walsh Group, one of the largest water and wastewater treatment plant builders in the Unites States, has promoted David Walker to Vice President of Southeast Water.
As Vice President, David will provide oversight and leadership for projects within the Water Group’s Southeast Region, which includes, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, North Carolina and South Carolina. His responsibilities will include consultation with owners, monitoring project progress, and supervision and review of management systems and staff.
"David is a proven leader and one of the brightest minds in the water business,” said Roy Epps. "We are confident that David’s experience, knowledge and dedication to customer service will continue to propel our Southeast region to successful and profitable results."
David has more than 25 years of water and wastewater construction experience and 14 years with The Walsh Group. In his previous role as Program Manager, David oversaw projects across Georgia, Florida and North Carolina. These projects ranged from the $325 million expansion of Big Creek Water Reclamation Facility in Roswell, Georgia to the $79 million Miller Pumping Station in Naples, Florida. David’s program also included the Quarles Plant 1 Replacement Project, Fowler WRF Expansion and the Flat Creek WRF Dewatering Improvements.
