AZ Water Association names Kyle Ledbetter Construction Professional of the Year
Phoenix, AZ - Archer Western Project Executive Kyle Ledbetter has been named the 2023 Construction Professional of the Year by the AZ Water Association.
Ledbetter has 18 years of experience building water and wastewater projects with Archer Western across the state of Arizona, having completed water projects throughout metro Phoenix, Tucson, and Morenci. Ledbetter has also delivered award winning projects for a wide range of project delivery methods, from Design-Build-Operate to CMAR to hard bid.
Over the past year, Ledbetter has helped lead the $25 million rehabilitation of the Neely Water Reclamation Plant in Gilbert, the $24 million expansion of the Jomax Water Reclamation Facility in Peoria along with multiple upgrade and improvement projects for the City of Mesa and City of Tempe.
Ledbetter has been a part of several award-winning AZ Water projects including the 2021 Water Treatment Project of the Year Award for Scottsdale Thomas Groundwater Treatment Facility (TGTF) and the 2014 Wastewater Project of the Year Award for Pima County Agua Nueva Water Treatment Plant. He has also been an AZ Water Conference speaker in 2018 and 2020, speaking on his 91st Ave Biogas project, and Scottsdale Thomas Groundwater Treatment Facility.
Beyond construction, Ledbetter enjoys taking time to give back to his community through various charity events throughout the year including working with the Society of St. Vincent de Paul and the Children’s First Leadership Academy.
AZ Water Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit educational organization founded in 1928 with a membership of 2,100 water/wastewater professionals dedicated to preserving and enhancing Arizona's water environment. Although AZ Water is an independent organization, it also serves as the Arizona section of the American Water Works Association (AWWA) and the Arizona member association of the Water Environment Federation (WEF).
