Engineering News-Record ranks The Walsh Group as No. 1 Water Treatment and Desalination Plant Builder in America for 2024
CHICAGO – The Walsh Group has been listed as the No. 1 Water Treatment and Desalination Plant Builder in the United States in 2024, by Engineering News-Record magazine (ENR). The Walsh Group reports more than $546 million in recent revenue for water treatment and desalination plant projects, as listed in the 2024 edition of ENR’s Top 400 Contractors Sourcebook.
The Walsh Group’s portfolio of water treatment plant work spans across the United States including the Arcadia Lake Water Treatment Plant Process Improvements in Norman, Oklahoma, the Pierce-Burch Water Treatment Plant Chemical, Clearwell and Pump Station Improvements in Arlington, Texas, the expansion of the Arcadia Wastewater Treatment Plant in Santa Monica, California, and construction of the new Tri-Town Regional Water Treatment Plant in Braintree, Massachusetts.
This marks the eleventh time The Walsh Group has been ranked No. 1 for water treatment and desalination plants by Engineering News-Record. The Walsh Group holds additional rankings within ENR's collection of environmental listings, including ranking as the No. 2 contractor for Wastewater Treatment Plant construction, No. 3 for Water Supply, and No. 3 for Sewer and Solid Waste Projects.
These rankings are based on the annual surveys conducted by Engineering News-Record to rank companies involved in general contracting, specialty contracting, engineering, architecture, environmental services and other specialties.
