The Walsh Group ranked No. 1 Wastewater Treatment Plant Builder by Engineering News-Record
CHICAGO – The Walsh Group has been ranked the No. 1 Wastewater Treatment Plant Builder in the United States by Engineering News-Record (ENR) as part of the publication's 2026 industry rankings.
ENR's annual rankings recognize the nation's leading construction firms across major market sectors based on annual construction revenue. The Walsh Group earned the top position in the wastewater treatment plant category with more than $877 million in wastewater treatment plant construction revenue last year. The company was also ranked the No. 2 Water Treatment and Desalination Plant Builder in ENR's 2026 listings.
These top rankings reflect The Walsh Group's extensive portfolio of water and wastewater infrastructure projects and the expertise of its project teams delivering complex treatment facilities for communities across the country.

The Walsh Group, operating as Walsh Construction and Archer Western Construction, is delivering significant wastewater treatment and water reclamation projects throughout the United States, including the expansion of the Hutto South Wastewater Treatment Plant in Hutto, Texas, biosolids improvements at the Morris Forman Water Quality Treatment Center in Louisville, Kentucky, secondary treatment and dewatering upgrades to the City of Sunnyvale Water Pollution Control Plant in California, and biosolids facilities upgrades to the W.B. Casey Water Resource Recovery Facility in Jonesboro, Georgia.
