The renovation and expansion of the Seeley G. Mudd Library building provides collaborative student resources and additional space for state-of-the-art scientific research laboratories. The project includes 36,000 square feet of climate-controlled space for sensitive instrumentation, 39,000 square feet of computational laboratory space and 74,000 square feet of wet laboratory research space. Additionally, the project provides a prominent new ground-floor entrance where the main entry opens to a two-story atrium, providing direct access to the library area on the second floor.
