The new 27-story Hilton Garden Inn is a 96,000-square-foot hotel located on a small parcel of land that is only 4,730 square feet. The project's location presented significant logistical challenges. Two of the three buildings bordering the site were adjacent to the property line, leaving limited site access. The hotel construction is cast-in-place concrete and required application of a marine crane to work within site constraints.
The hotel includes 191 guestrooms, back-of-house areas and public space which includes a full-service kitchen, dining space, bar and lobby located on the main level and fitness room and meeting room on the lower level. The exterior façade consists of an aluminum storefront with revolving doors and swing doors at the main entrance, punched windows with a fixed continuous louver system and a multi-color scheme using insulated metal panels.
