The InterContinental Chicago O’Hare Hotel is four-star hotel with 570 guestrooms. The design-build project consisted of a 12-story cast-in-place concrete T-shaped tower with 10 guest room floors and a mechanical penthouse. The first floor is divided into a lobby, meeting space, ballroom space, banquet kitchen, signature restaurant, and back-of-house areas. The hotel is constructed with architectural precast and structural steel. Included in the project is a 10-story precast parking garage for 804 vehicles. Below the parking garage is an entertainment venue with stadium-style seating. The precast garage rests on a cast-in-place concrete foundation.
