The Life Sciences Building, located in the center of a series of science and classroom buildings, is a teaching and research laboratory that spans 174,000 square feet. It features a 25,000-square-foot vivarium, a lecture hall, office and conference rooms, a café, special procedure rooms, laboratory facilities and two pedestrian bridges to adjacent buildings, as well as below-grade connections to one of the laboratories and a utility tunnel. The laboratory finishes involved a full fill-out, including fume hoods, biosafety cabinets, environmental rooms and anigre wood laboratory casework.
