The new 28-acre campus-style maintenance and operations facility includes administration offices, shipping and receiving areas, maintenance areas, a warehouse, a vehicle storage area and fuel/wash bays. The project consisted of constructing seven separate buildings totaling approximately 130,000 square feet.
Pierce County STOP was the recipient of both the National and State Project of the Year Award from the American Public Works Association. It also received the 2015 Southwest Washington AIA Design Award.
