The design-build of this casino and accompanying pavilion required extensive site work carried out in three phases. Phase I saw relocation of an existing railroad spur and loading area, demolition of the old facility, new culvert piping and procurement of a steel barge that will be the foundation for the casino facility. Phase II involved site improvements, including site clearing, new retaining wall, street demolition, new curb and sidewalks, and sewer and water relocation work as well as the purchasing of steel sheet pile materials. Finishing site work on the project included a pedestrian and vehicular bridge as well as restoring an existing historic bridge across a creek. Parking facilities for 1,000 cars were provided, as well as rerouting of sewer and water lines.
