Archer Western Construction completed the expansion of the Fowler Water Reclamation Facility, increasing the plant's capacity from 2.5 to 5.0 million MGD. Along with doubling the plant’s capacity, other highlights from the project included building a new headworks facility, a new equalization tank and pump station, and improving the solids dewatering, odor control, and storage capabilities throughout the plant. The scope of work included new construction and expansion to existing facilities where needed. The structural modifications in place allow for the plant to be upgraded once more to hold a larger MGD capacity if seen fit.
Archer Western also completed Phase 2 of the expansion of the Fowler Water Reclamation Facility, increasing the plant's capacity from 5.0 to 7.5 million MGD. Key improvements from the project also included the upgrade of the influent pump station, addition of two membrane bioreactor (MBR) tanks, construction of a new chemical facility and upgrades to existing systems and equipment.
