The Pure Water Project Las Virgenes-Triunfo is a major regional water reuse program designed to create a drought-resilient, locally controlled drinking water supply for the Las Virgenes and Triunfo service areas. The project includes construction of a new Advanced Water Purification Facility at the base of Ladyface Mountain, along with a 14-mile reverse osmosis concentrate pipeline spanning Thousand Oaks, Westlake Village, and Agoura Hills.
Delivered under a $303.7 million progressive design-build contract, Walsh Construction is working with Brown and Caldwell, Carollo Engineers, and Trussell Technologies to advance the largest infrastructure investment in the JPA’s history. Once complete, the project is expected to provide up to 30 percent of the region’s drinking water supply, reduce reliance on imported water, eliminate recycled water discharge to Malibu Creek, and strengthen long-term water reliability for the surrounding communities.
