Walsh Logistics welcomes Feross Alkhader
I graduated with a degree in Architecture from the German Jordanian University in 2019 and started my career as a project manager with a Glass and Glazing subcontractor where I gained extensive experience in construction project management. In 2021, I transitioned back into architecture to pursue licensure and deepen my industry knowledge. Working on healthcare projects across Columbus, including the OSU campus and the James Cancer Hospital, was transformative and deepened my appreciation for the field. I’m now thrilled to be part of Walsh, working on the OSU campus and the Wexner Medical Center—projects that have always been a dream of mine.
What is one professional skill you’re currently working on?
During the day I am working on improving my administrative and project management skills. After work, I am studying to be a Licensed Architect.
What has been your favorite project so far?
The OSU Wexner Medical Center is incredible; it's such a staple on the skyline in Columbus. When it comes to healthcare it is probably as big and as grand as it gets, and now I have the opportunity to be a part of that project!
What is on your wish list for the next 10 years with Walsh Healthcare?
My dream is to be able to take a lot of ownership of the projects I've worked on. In the future I hope I will be able to drive around and see the imprint I've had on the city. Walsh is a fantastic place to build that impressive portfolio (hopefully nationwide) and to learn more about what it takes to run these projects.
What behavior or personality trait do you most attribute your success to and why?
The behavior I attribute most to my success is a commitment to hard work and continuous improvement. While natural talent can play a role, I believe overcoming perceived weaknesses and learning from others is crucial. Throughout my career, I've made it a point to work with and learn from talented project managers. Observing what makes them excel and applying those insights to my own work has been incredibly valuable. I plan to continue this approach and hope to one day pass on my knowledge to the next generation of project managers.
