Archer Western Helps Worthy Cause in Central Florida
The Boys and Girls
Clubs of Sanford, Florida offers a free after-school program for over 180
deserving K-12th grade students that arrive at 3:30 and stay until 6pm-8pm.
Homework help is offered every day during the "Power Hour." After
homework, the kids are divided by age groups and rotate to different areas.
Some of the areas include: a computer room, science area, game room, outdoor
recreational area, Art Department, gym, on site garden, and cooking classes.
The facility includes a Middle School room and a Teen Center dedicated to older
members. The Boys & Girls Clubs have five core Program Areas: Character
& Leadership Development, Education & Career Development, Health &
Life Skills, The Arts, and Sports, Fitness & Recreation.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Sanford Florida continue to ensure that 'GREAT
FUTURES START HERE'.
