This timelapse of construction shows 1001 South State as it climbs 40 stories. The 398-unit residential high-rise is the newest addition to upscale living in Chicago's South Loop neighborhood. Levels one through four include parking. Level five includes indoor and outdoor amenities with a pool, spa, grill area and extensive landscaping. Levels six through 39 are residential, and Level 40 includes a penthouse unit and amenities.
