The Walsh Group names Andy Douglas Vice President of Carolinas Transportation
The Walsh Group has announce that Andy Douglas has been promoted to Vice President and Business Group Leader for its Transportation Group in the Carolinas.
Douglas will be responsible for oversight and leadership of projects in the North and South Carolina transportation markets. His responsibilities will also include consultation with owners, monitoring project progress, supervision and review of management systems and staff.
Andy has more than 20 years of experience in the industry and has been with Archer Western for three years. In his previous role as Program Manager, Andy played a significant role in overseeing a collection of major infrastructure work in South Carolina including the $91 million I-77 Widening in Columbia and the $70 million I-85 Reconstruction in Spartanburg. Andy's program also included the $43 million Jones Branch Connector in Tysons, Virginia and $50 million concrete pavement replacement along I-77 in Jonesville, North Carolina. As BGL, Andy will also oversee the upcoming widening of I-26 in Columbia, South Carolina.
