Walsh Canada to deliver Terminal 1 Gate Modifications at Toronto Pearson International Airport

TORONTO, ON - Walsh Canada has been selected by the Greater Toronto Airports Authority for the latest Terminal One Gate Modifications at Toronto Pearson International Airport. The project consists of modifications to existing airplane gates, including selective demolition, construction of new concrete podium, relocation of gates’ visual docking guidance systems (VDGS), and specialized mechanical and electrical works associated with the Passenger Boarding Bridges (PBB). Within the terminal, Walsh Canada will also be completing interior modifications to hold room F67. All work is to be completed while maintaining full airport operations. The modifications are anticipated to be complete in November 2019.
