Craft Leadership - Snapfinger WWTP

Craft Leadership is a craft-driven program that ensures all craft professionals have a voice when it comes to the success of their projects. At The Walsh Group, all projects are required to develop a written Craft Leadership program, select a team of Craft Leaders, and get involved.

In Decatur, Georgia, the Snapfinger Advanced Wastewater Treatment Plant Expansion was a pilot project in early 2020 for implementing a Craft Leadership program on site. Fast-forward to September 2021, craft leadership is thriving and empowering the Snapfinger crews as they increase plant capacity from 34 to 54 million gallons per day. In the video above, Archer Western’s Belue Sturgill and Brian Kuhnle reflect on the support, buy-in and proven effectiveness of their Craft Leadership program at Snapfinger.
