The Walsh Group begins construction on Rapid Ride H Line that will connect Burien and Seattle
SEATTLE, WA – The Walsh Group joined King County Metro to break ground on the new Rapid Ride H Line bus line from the Burien Transit Center to downtown Seattle. The Route 120 line will add 51 stops and promises nearly continuous service in both directions every ten minutes.
The Walsh Group will install Rapid Ride stations in unincorporated King County and the Cities of Seattle and Burien. 17 new stations are to be built with another 34 existing stations receiving upgrades. Along 4.81 miles of roadway, new fiber and communication duct banks will be installed and traffic signal systems improved.
Rapid Ride H Line is anticipated to launch in 2022, providing connections from neighborhoods in Burien, White Center, and West Seattle to downtown. The Rapid Ride H Line will also offer needed connections to other bus service and Link light rail in the area.
