The Walsh Group promotes Andy Kocher to Vice President of Federal Healthcare
CHICAGO – The Walsh Group, one of the largest construction service providers and largest healthcare contractors in the United States, has announce the promotion of Andy Kocher to Vice President of Federal Healthcare. Kocher will provide oversight and leadership for the company’s healthcare projects within the federal sector.

Kocher has 28 years of construction industry experience and 22 years with The Walsh Group. He recently served as Program Manager, focusing on work with the Department of Veterans Affairs. Kocher has been building upon Walsh’s 30-year relationship with the VA, working to deliver some of the company’s largest federal healthcare projects, including the Replacement VA Medical Center in Louisville, Kentucky, the VA Dallas Long-Term Spinal Cord Injury Center, the VA Long Beach Mental Health Inpatient and Outpatient Facilities in California and the VA San Diego Spinal Cord Injury and Community Living Center.
The Walsh Group, performing work as Walsh Construction and Archer Western Construction is currently ranked as the fifth largest healthcare contractor in the United States by Modern Healthcare.
