The Walsh Group promotes Doug Benjamin to Vice President of Northwest Building
SEATTLE - The Walsh Group, one of the largest construction service providers in North America, has announced the promotion of Doug Benjamin to Vice President of Northwest Building within the company’s building division. Benjamin will provide oversight and leadership for building projects within The Walsh Group’s Northwest region. His responsibilities will include consultation with owners, monitoring project progress, and supervision and review of management systems and staff.
"Doug has been the point person for us in the Seattle and Northwest region, expanding our brand and strengthening our networks in public, private and federal markets,” said Building Group President Mike Whelan. “We are excited to have Doug take on a larger leadership role as he continues to secure projects with new and existing clients across the Northwest.”
Benjamin has 27 years of construction industry experience and 25 years with The Walsh Group. Benjamin recently served as Program Manager, overseeing the company’s Seattle building operations. His portfolio of work stretches across multiple markets, including the FedEx Express ANCA Relocation in Anchorage, Alaska, the Information System Facility at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington, the Bates Technical College Center for Allied Health Education in Tacoma, Washington and the Trailside Student Housing Project in Seattle.
