The Walsh Group promotes Bill Barsella to Vice President of its National Building Group West Operations
CHICAGO - The Walsh Group, one of the largest construction service providers in North America, has announced the promotion of Bill Barsella to Vice President within the company’s building division.
As Vice President, Barsella will provide oversight and leadership for National Building Group projects, servicing federal clients, within the west region, outside the state of Washington. His responsibilities will include consultation with owners, monitoring project progress, and supervision and review of management systems and staff.
"From the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to the U.S. Air Force, Bill has been fostering strong and trusted relationships with our federal customers for 15 years,” said The Walsh Group's Building Division President Mike Whelan. “Bill’s proven leadership among his teams and collaboration with clients, while navigating complex challenges, have not only ensured the success of his projects but have also strengthened our customer service.”
Barsella has 40 years of construction industry experience and 15 years with The Walsh Group. Bill recently served as Program Manager over the National Building Group’s west operations, helping to secure and deliver work for various agencies. A collection of Bill’s most notable project deliveries include the Weapons Storage and Maintenance Facility at Malstrom AFB, Montana, the KC-46A 3-Bay Maintenance Hangar at Travis AFB, California, and the B21 Low Observable Restoration Facility on Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota.
