Walsh Logistics assisted in transitioning 500 staff members into the new facility. Services included: Project Management, Comprehensive Interior Design, Comprehensive Medical Equipment Planning, DMLSS Input, Equipment Sourcing & Procurement, Transition Planning & Relocation, move logistics services, Installation, Testing and Training, Defense Reutilization and Marketing Services (DRMS), Final Turnover and Closeout.
Walsh Logistics integrated our services on the separate MILCON contract ultimately delivering this project on-time and under budget. The construction contract was a design build contract (not constructed by Walsh) with a substantial completion on July 12, 2019, and an occupancy date of Jan. 13, 2020. After Walsh Logistics outfitted the new clinic, the team provided DRMS for all items remaining in the existing hospital.
