This automated distribution center that fulfills online sales was the prototype for a series of national and regional distribution centers for Target Corporation. The 1 million-square-foot facility is located on a 99-acre site and anchors the 137-acre Rita Tech Park. The roof of the Target building encompasses 22 acres alone. The interior of the Target building includes three remote office pods totaling 25,000 square feet of office space. Scope of work included extensive excavation and site work, and design and coordination of all mechanical, electrical, fire protection, plumbing, CCTV and fire alarm systems.
