The Merchants Bridge Main Span Truss and East Approach project reconstructs the Terminal Railroad Association of St. Louis (TRRA) Mississippi River rail crossing at St. Louis. The project replaces three 520-foot truss spans, constructs pier encasement, and rehabilitates of the associated elevated approach structures. Major goals of the project include the return of service to both tracks across the bridge, increase the track centers to 15 feet, and minimize necessary bridge maintenance.
