Design-build of a 30-mile corridor project that includes 39 bridges, more than 800 utility relocations, and design and construction of tolled managed lanes, general-purpose lanes, collector-distributor roads and bridges. The project will improve existing lanes of the interstate, provide continuous frontage roads and construct new reversible managed toll lanes to keep traffic moving at 50 mph. Construction is in an active corridor on one of the 100 most congested roadways in Texas. The corridor functions as a major artery for hundreds of thousands of commuters, as well as a primary link to major universities.
