The full hospital replacement project includes three adjacent B-occupancy clinics and an inpatient/acute care hospital building that totals 1,200,000 square feet. The project includes providing all planning and purchasing of medical and nonmedical equipment; installation; commissioning and activation support; testing and training for all non-IT equipment; warehouse management services; transition and relocation; disposal; final turnover and closeout. The hospital supports more than 42,000 active duty personnel, along with more than 145,000 family members and retirees within a 40-mile radius. The new hospital is roughly twice the size of the old one and rises six stories.
